Privacy Policy

Effective Date: June 19, 2026 · Version: privacy-v3-2026-06-19

Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how we collect, use, share, retain, and protect your information. This Privacy Policy supplements the Lottira Terms of Service and is incorporated by reference.

1. Data We Collect
  • Account details: name, email, phone number, date of birth (for age verification), and shipping address.
  • Eligibility data: declared state of residence, IP address, and approximate geolocation (used solely to enforce US-only and state-by-state eligibility rules for sweepstakes entries).
  • AMOE entry data: when you submit a free Alternative Method of Entry, we collect your name, email, and mailing address, regardless of whether you have a Lottira account.
  • Tax information: for prizes meeting IRS reporting thresholds (cumulative annual prize value of $600 or more per recipient), we collect a completed Form W-9, which includes legal name, address, and taxpayer identification number.
  • Usage and device data: cookies and similar trackers, page interactions, and transactional records (paid entries, AMOE entries, promotion participation, eligibility decisions, and audit logs).
  • Consent metadata: When you accept our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, we capture and retain your real IP address, timestamp, document version, and user agent via our backend systems to maintain a rigorous audit log of your consent.
2. How We Use Data
  • Operate, secure, and improve the platform.
  • Verify age and US-state eligibility before accepting entries.
  • Administer drawings, select winners, send winner notifications, and facilitate prize fulfillment.
  • Process payments, prevent fraud, and provide support communications.
  • Comply with sweepstakes laws, tax reporting obligations, and lawful requests from government authorities.
  • Verify Seller identity for fraud prevention, payouts, and tax reporting.
3. Sharing With Third Parties

Lottira does not sell personal information and does not engage in cross-context behavioral advertising.

  • Sponsors (Sellers): when you win a Promotion, the Sponsor for that Promotion receives the winner name, confirmed shipping address, and contact email solely for the purpose of fulfilling the prize. No other personal information is shared with the Sponsor.
  • Payment processor: payment, payout, and tax-related information necessary to process Coin purchases and Seller payouts is shared with our payment processor. Lottira does not store full payment-card details.
  • IRS and applicable state tax authorities: for prizes meeting reporting thresholds, Lottira files Form 1099-MISC and may be required to share related taxpayer information.
  • Geolocation providers (e.g., ipinfo.io, ipapi.co): IP addresses are sent to commercial geolocation services for the limited purpose of state-eligibility enforcement. No additional personal information is transmitted.
  • Other service providers: shipping carriers, email delivery, analytics, and infrastructure providers acting under contract and only for purposes consistent with this Policy.
  • We utilize third-party sub-processors to facilitate our platform services, subject to strict Data Processing Agreements. These include our designated payment and payout processors, Twilio (for OTP verification), SendGrid (for transactional emails), Tax1099 (for year-end 1099-MISC filing), Shippo (for Sponsor shipping label generation), ipinfo.io and ipapi.co (for IP geolocation and state-eligibility enforcement), and Mux (for video processing infrastructure).
  • Legal compliance: we may disclose information when required by law, court order, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Lottira, our users, or the public.
4. Cookies & Tracking

We use functional, performance, and analytics cookies. See the Cookie Policy for details and your choices.

5. Retention & Security
  • Sweepstakes-related records (entry logs, drawing logs, winner records, eligibility decision logs, and tax records) are retained for at least five (5) years from the close of the relevant Promotion to comply with federal and state sweepstakes laws and IRS recordkeeping requirements.
  • Account data is retained for the life of the account plus a reasonable period thereafter, subject to legal obligations.
  • AMOE entries and winner-claim records may be retained longer where required to demonstrate compliance with no-purchase-necessary laws.
  • Industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards protect data in transit and at rest. Payment-card data is handled by our payment processor and is not stored on Lottira systems.
6. Your Rights
  • Access, correction, and deletion: you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information by contacting support@lottira.com.
  • Opt-out of marketing communications: every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Transactional and legal notices (winner notifications, claim deadlines, tax forms) cannot be unsubscribed from while you have an active account or pending claim.
  • California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion, correct inaccurate information, and limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information. Lottira does not sell personal information.
  • Other state privacy rights (e.g., Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah): residents of states with comprehensive consumer privacy laws may exercise the rights granted by those laws by contacting support@lottira.com.
  • Identity verification may be required before fulfilling a request.
7. Children's Privacy

Lottira is intended only for adults aged 18 or older (19 in Alabama and Nebraska). We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a person under 18, we will delete it.
